Facebook Stylish Name Generator — Names That Pass Review

A Facebook stylish name is your name written with Unicode letter styles or symbols, such as 𝐊𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐫 or ꧁Kabir꧂. NickFB styles any name and marks every result passes, risky or rejected against Facebook’s name standards, so you know what fits your main name, Other names or bio.

Why bold and script letters are “risky”: they are not real letters but mathematical symbols that look like letters. Facebook sometimes accepts them and later asks you to change the name, and you can only change your name a limited number of times.

Stylish names for your Facebook ID: what goes where

Your Facebook profile has three places for a name, and each has different rules. Put the plain version in Name, a short nickname in Other names, and the decorated version in your bio.

  1. Open Facebook Settings and find Name (on newer versions it sits inside Accounts Center under your profile).
  2. Paste the plain or “passes” version in First and Last name and save.
  3. Add a nickname under About → Details about you → Other names.
  4. Paste a decorated version in your bio (intro), which allows up to 101 characters.

FB VIP names with symbols

VIP-style names use crowns, frames and titles. Facebook rejects symbols and titles in the main name, so use these for Other names, your bio, Messenger nicknames or group chats.

Will Facebook accept it?

Facebook reviews every name change. The quick check on the profile card above uses these rules of thumb.

Usually accepted as your main name

  • Lena Moore Normal letters with ordinary capitals
  • 𝐋𝐞𝐧𝐚 𝐌𝐨𝐨𝐫𝐞 Sometimes passes, but bold/italic letters can be reverted
  • Léna Møøre Accented letters from real languages

Better kept for Nickname or Bio

  • ꧁Lena꧂ Decorative frames and symbols
  • L e n a ♡ Hearts, stars, repeated or spaced-out letters
  • lena 0123… Phone numbers, links or words that are not a name

Facebook limits how often you can change your name. Test in a comment or chat first, and put decoration in “Other names” or your bio where the rules are looser.

Did your name pass Facebook?

Tried one of these names on your profile? Email [email protected] with the exact name (copy and paste it), whether Facebook accepted it, asked you to change it or rejected it, and the date. Do not send your profile link or login details. The NickFB Editorial Team checks each report before updating a verdict, adds the date, and never publishes who sent it. FAQ

What is a good FB name?

A good Facebook name is the name people know you by, written with normal letters and ordinary capitals, such as “Kabir Sethi”. Facebook asks for the name you use in everyday life, so keep stylish letters and symbols for Other names and your bio.

How do I put a stylish name on Facebook?

Type your name in the NickFB generator, copy a style, then paste it in the Name setting of your profile (inside Accounts Center on newer versions). Styles marked “passes” are the safest; “risky” styles may be accepted and later reverted; “rejected” styles belong in Other names or your bio.

What is the FB ID name?

It is the name shown on your Facebook profile (first and last name). It is different from your username in the profile link, which can only use letters, numbers and dots.

How do I make a style name?

Stylish names are made by swapping normal letters for Unicode characters that look different, such as bold 𝐀 or script 𝒜, and adding symbols like ꧁꧂ or ★. They are characters, not fonts, so they copy and paste anywhere.
